The Bluejackets society was set up in 2001 to re-create the Royal Navy of the Victorian era. Since then we have added the Royal Navy in World War One and the Russian Civil War so that our period now spans from 1879 to 1919.
We portray the Royal Navy from 1860 to 1919. During this period the navy ruled the waves and defended the nation's interests both at sea and on land. We portray sailors and Royal Marines in a number of the conflicts during this period.
If you are interested in booking The Bluejackets please get in touch and we can start discussing your requirements. We offer living history displays with lots of interaction and things going on to educate and entertain the public.
