Le Régiment Gatinois represent the French Army during the American War of Independence, based primarily across the North of England and attending events in the North/Midlands.
Armed with new primary research, we aim to be as progressive as possible, bringing to life this unique regiment during the height of their involvement in the American Revolution. Alongside our military roles, the Voices of Williamsburg represent a wide range of civilian life in Virginia, where the regiment was deployed in 1781.
We attend a wide range of display and skirmish events, including more immersive experiences and trips overseas, and are seeking those keen to live the life of the eighteenth century to join our community.
Although we portray a grenadier company in the French army, neither height or French-language-skills are a requirement to serve in uniform. We are actively inclusive, and are happy to work with you to support you with any disabilities you may have.
