WW1 WW2 Multi-Period Vehicles Historical Encampment Talks & Lectures
Step back into the turbulent years of the twentieth century as The Wardrobe presents our 'World at War Weekend' on the 12th and 13th September.

Join us for a fascinating weekend exploring the experiences of soldiers and civilians during both the First and Second World Wars. Throughout the weekend, we'll be joined by a range of living history and re-enactment groups, including 'The Great War Society', and 'The Wiltshires of the Great War', who will bring these pivotal conflicts to life through authentic displays, demonstrations and encampments.

Discover the realities of life on the front line and behind the scenes as our living historians showcase original and replica uniforms, equipment, weaponry and personal items from the period. From the trenches of the First World War to the battlefields of the Second World War, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the people, stories and technology that shaped the modern world.
